Do your own needs and desires seem to take a backseat to those of others? Do you find yourself constantly striving to please everyone around you, at the expense of your own well-being? Do you find yourself flooded by overwhelming and confusing emotions, making it hard to maintain control? If you’ve had challenging or painful experiences that you’ve tried to put behind you, we can work together to understand how your past is showing up in your present. Together we will work to establish the skills you need for a peaceful life. You’ve made it through all of your hardest days with the strength that already exists within you. You don't have to climb this mountain alone. With the support you need, you will find emotional balance and create a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Lexi offers a tailored and compassionate approach to therapy, recognizing that each client's unique needs deserve personalized attention. She operates within a strengths-based and trauma-informed framework, focusing on understanding not "what is wrong with you," but rather "what happened to you, and how did you adapt?" With genuine empathy and a non-judgmental stance, Lexi equips her clients with the tools to navigate feelings of sadness, shame, anxiety, anger, and overwhelm, ultimately helping them reestablish a sense of safety within their own bodies. Through reflection and emotional awareness, clients will learn to effect positive change, establish healthy boundaries, and break free from detrimental patterns of thought and behavior.

Lexi holds a Master of Social Work degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New College of Florida, where her thesis research centered on the psychosocial experience of people with invisible physical illnesses. She has six years of social work experience serving the Southwest Florida community. Her experience encompasses a range of areas, including providing solution-focused interventions to university students, conducting biopsychosocial assessments and assisting with community resource navigation for the Public Defender's office, particularly with individuals involved in the adult Drug Court program and those facing felony criminal charges. She’s provided therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing a wide spectrum of challenges including trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, substance use disorders, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Lexi holds a professional certification in Trauma & Resilience from Florida State University as well as certifications as a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and a Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional (CAIP). Lexi Fischer is a registered clinical social work intern (ISW15744) in the state of Florida supervised by Dena Paniccia, LCSW (SW14217).
