Meet Dena Paniccia

Dena Paniccia L.L.C.

Dena graduated with a degree of Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has been practicing in Lee County since 2011. She has worked with adolescents, ages 12 and up, and their families for 10 years in a substance use residential facility. She has also worked to oversee the clinical management of substance use and co-occurring disorders of adult programming for 3 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, SW 14217, Qualified Licensure Supervisor for Social Work (QS), Certified First Responder Counselor, Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider (C-CATP) and Certified Telehealth Provider (C-TMH). She is also an EMDRIA approved EMDR Therapist in training, she will be fully certified November 2020.

Her clinical experience includes counseling: adolescents ages 12 and up, adults, families and couples in settings for: Addiction, Anxiety Disorders, Recovery, Co-Occurring Disorders, Grief, Anger Management, Codependency, Criminal Behavior, Self-Esteem, and Trauma. 

Dena uses several different treatment modalities to find what her clients feel is most effective for them. She works with her clients to encourage self-empowerment to make the changes needed in their lives to become a happier and healthier version of themselves. Dena believes S. Maraboli’s philosophy “You were put on this earth to achieve your greatest self, to live out your purpose, and to do it courageously” and is here to create a safe judgement free zone to help you get there.
